Food and drink supplier, PepsiCo has unveiled a new programme designed to support emerging technology companies across Europe.
Named Pepsico10, the programme is aimed to identify up to 10 of the most promising technology companies in Europe. They will be given the opportunity to work with PepsiCo UK, as their ‘ready-to-go’ solutions could be applied to drive business value for the food and beverage giant.
The programme focuses on five categories: social media, mobile marketing, place-based technology, digital video, and gaming or learning platforms.
Entrants’ ideas and solutions will be evaluated on their potential ability to impact PepsiCo’s business and to deliver on the company’s motto, ‘Performance with purpose’. It is designed to demonstrate the company’s commitment to finding innovative ways to minimise its impact on the environment, as well as to provide a great workplace for its associates and to respect, support and invest in the local communities.
The PepsiCo10 pilot programme, launched in the US last June, has resulted in the execution of successful digital marketing activations across the US PepsiCo brand. One of the winners was Evil Genius Designs’ ‘Super shopper’, pictured above, that features a virtual reality game.
