New research into B2B emails reveals subject lines that include a ‘£’ increases open rates by up to 25 per cent, according to email service provider Adestra.
The research concludes that emails with ‘money’ words boost interaction levels, while words such as ‘whitepaper’ and ‘webinar’ have had their day.
Further, the research confirmed that personalisation in subject lines works.
However, the report also asserts the importance of content. Clever subject lines have little impact if the content of the email is not up to scratch.
