Prospect Swetenhams wins back Wood

Prospect Swetenhams has won back one of its ex account managers to head up its data service team.

Simon Wood rejoins the data services company, following a year long stint on the account management team at LBM, to take on the role of data services manager. His reappointment is one of several the agency has undertaken in recent months to drive the business forwards. Johanna Higgleton was appointed data sales manager in September and Lindsay Samdom-Brown was brought on board in July as head of client services.

“The organisation I left is not the new organisation I have now joined” says Wood. “Though the provision of data for client acquisition campaigns and the management of lists is still part of the mix, our focus is now firmly on making data work more effectively for our clients by building cost effective platforms to help them open up opportunities and see just how data can make a significant difference to the way they do business. That’s a very exciting proposition and one I am very happy to be part of.”

Wood first joined Prospect Swetenhams in August 2003 as an account manager in its bureau team. Part of his new role will see him helping the agency to build new business

Lindsey Sandom-Brown, head of client services for Prospect Swetenhams, adds, “Our data services team has been created to reflect changes in the way we service our clients, and the very different needs those clients now face. Simon will be at the heart of our client teams, making sure that whatever they require in terms of data management and analysis, we can provide the right solution for them.”

Prospect Swetenhams has recently made a number of investments in data acquisition, database analytics and bureau services, including the acquisition of Wegener DM International by parent company Bisnode.
