Marketing agency Pulse has announced it will rebrand to Transmission as part of a global expansion into the US and APJ.
Transmission was launched as a separate agency to Pulse in January but now Transmission, Pulse, and other sister agency Pace will all work under the same brand name. The new agency mantra will be ‘Customer Obsessed, Unified Marketing’.
Pulse and Pace are B2B tech agencies, and Transmission is a non-tech agency. Now combined, Transmission will serve all B2B verticals with a major specialism in tech.
Chris Bagnall founder and MD at Pulse, and now CEO of Transmission, said: “It was clear we needed a new name that gave us focus and consistency as we expanded into new territories. ‘Pulse’ was just too commonly used as an agency name for us to keep and differentiate ourselves globally. We can now continue our expansion as one single company, aligned to our new positioning.”
As part of the rebrand three new offices will be opening in San Francisco, Singapore, and Sydney. This adds to the agency two current locations in London and Munich.
Head of strategy and planning at Pulse, Ricky Abbott, will be relocating to San Francisco to become president of Americas. John Massey has also been appointed as MD in APJ at the Singapore office.
Chris also added: “Our new international offices give us a unique ability to service the growing needs of many of our clients with more local support. Often our clients have complex pan-international business transformational needs, as well as more local strategic and tactical marketing program requirements. Our truly full-service, single-agency approach can now be extended to cater for these increasing client requirements”.
Pulse was founded five years ago. Since then it has been ranked as one of the top 10 fastest growing UK B2B agencies.
