PVL uses digital for engineering audience

Industrial switch supplier Pressure Vacuum Level (PVL) is adding an element of digital marketing to its marcomms strategy in a bid to stand out from competitors.

Stone Junction, technical PR agency, has been chosen to provide media relations, blogging, social media and email marketing services. PVL hopes this approach will differ from its competitors ‘whose sales process emulates mass market catalogue companies.’

Richard Stone, founder of Stone Junction, outlines how the company aims to communicate PVL’s message to its target audience of engineers in a range of industries. “The key to communication for a company like PVL is to first understand the needs of the target customer and then prepare content which helps that customer take another step towards meeting those needs. I think it’s appropriate that this communication process actually mirrors PVL’s own business model.”
