QR codes could become a more prevalent feature in marketing campaigns with the launch of British company QRpro.
QRpro will generate, schedule and track the codes created for businesses. The software also allows businesses to change the destination of the code after it has been created and distributed, this could allow for multiple offers to be run using only one QR code.
Since its beta launch in May 2011 more than 600 businesses have signed up it. Nial Chapman, co-founder of QRpro, said, “As well as accurately tracking and reporting on all engagements, businesses will be able to schedule and even randomise the media that their QR codes direct users to. This opens allows them to be creative with their campaigns,”
