Digital marketing agency Rawnet has collaborated with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) to create a storybook featuring kids’ TV characters from the 1980s.
The interactive storybook, entitled Patch the Night Light, showcases some famous TV names, including Pingu, the Poddington Peas, Willy Frog, Dogtanian, Doctor Snuggles and Henry’s Cat.
The book will appeal to kids and adults alike, with parents able to experience the nostalgia of their favourite childhood characters.
The culmination of a three-month campaign that aims to encourage parents to end the day reading to their children, the initiative generated support from ex-footballer Matt Le Tissier and actor Matthew Addis.
Adam Smith, owner and MD at Rawnet, commented: “The Night Light campaign combines a winning formula for the modern-day bedtime story. It’s interactive, personal and fun, with the right mix of characters to keep kids and parents alike entertained, and to encourage them to spend time reading together.
“The entire campaign is not only a reflection of the importance of bedtime stories, but also highlights the outstanding service that Ronald McDonald House Charities provides to families across the country.”
The book is available for download here.
