Payment service provider Sage Pay has announced a partnership with mobile commerce provider the MoBank Group.
Sage Pay customers will now be able to take advantage of mobile commerce opportunities. The new mcommerce solution is being primarily aimed at SMEs.
Sage Pay’s E-business benchmark report revealed 45 per cent of merchants felt time and cost were the main barriers to going mobile. Sage Pay has said it has addressed this by implementing a flexible pay per performance pricing model, and by asserting merchants ‘can achieve a fully transactional mobile commerce site within a matter of weeks’.
John Fitchett, channel manager at Sage Pay said, “Mobile commerce is a rapidly growing channel which our merchants need to take advantage of. We are actively looking to help our clients get onto mobile and believe that MoBank will be instrumental in making this happen.”
