CRM provider Salesforce has announced its third quarter fiscal results and reported a record-breaking quarter.
The company’s total third quarter revenue reached $4.5 billion showing a 33% increase year-over-year.
Marc Benioff, Salesforce co-CEO, attributed results to expanded partnerships with their competitors and acquisitions the company made this year. Last week, the company announced a $1.25m grant towards education, a partnership with Deloitte, and the opening of another floor in its London office.
He also said the launch of Customer 360 last month was key in the company’s growth. Salesforce Customer 360 is a tool that allows companies to link Salesforce apps and create a unified customer ID to build a single profile of a customer.
Benioff said: “We’re now on track to double our revenue in five years. WIth Customer 360, only Salesforce is providing companies with a single source of truth, bringing them even closer to their customers across every touchpoint.”
