Salesforce unveils new social marketing suite

Salesforce has unveiled a new social marketing monitoring product suite powered by Radian6 technology.

Radian6 Social Marketing Cloud incorporates tools for social monitoring, insights, engagement, workflow and websites, and is designed to allow brands to take control of their digital presence and strengthen customer relations.

Marcel LeBrun, SVP and GM for Salesforce Radian6 said, “Social media is the single biggest change in marketing in the last decade. Social enterprises recognise that social media provides real-time opportunities to delight customers and prospects.

“The Radian6 Social Marketing Cloud will enable every company to be at the forefront of this exciting industry shift.”

Salesforce.com purchased Radian6 for $276 million in cash and $50 million in stock back in March 2011.
