Marketers can start building a clearer picture of their followers on Twitter, thanks to new service ‘Know Your Followers’.
Powered by social website Schmap, the site is an social media audience measurement tool that analyses followers so that companies can better understand and target their audience.
The free service enables any Twitter user access to a summary analysis of their followers – detailing patterns in gender, marital status, location, profession, likes and interests along with a person’s followers.
Paul Hallett, CEO for Schmap, said, “If they [users] are using it for business, they can gain valuable insight into their audience that they can use commercially to produce content and services to their followers.”
An in-depth analysis costs between $39.95 and $149.95 for most brands.
