Search marketing agency, Search Laboratory has announced it will create six new jobs a month over the next year following a raft of new client wins, including Wilkos and Transform.
The agency has already created more than 80 new jobs in the past year and plans to open a third office in Leeds to accommodate this recruitment drive.
The announcement is in stark contrast with the recent findings of the latest Close Brother Business Barometer which showed that more than 50 per cent of businesses have no plans to create new jobs within the next 12 months.
John Readman, commercial director at Search Laboratory, said: “We’re excited at the prospect of continuing to create jobs and career opportunities within Leeds and Yorkshire.
“We have enjoyed a period of fantastic growth during the last year or so – testament to the job our team have been doing for our clients – and we’ve signed up some great new business recently.
“The media is sometimes occupied too much with doom and gloom and stories and while some businesses are obviously not in the position to create new jobs we certainly are – and to any graduates or marketeers out there looking for a career in digital we’d love to hear from you.”
