Sign Up launches competition to share email best practice

Email marketing specialist, Sign Up, has launched a creative competition to help share email best practice within the marketing industry.
Open to both B2C and B2B brands, Sign Up is looking for the best examples of UK email marketing. Participants are being asked to post their entries on the marketing specialist’s Facebook page, where 10 shortlisted campaigns will then face the public vote on October 4. The overall winner will receive an Apple iPad. Deadline for entries is September 29.
Sign Up explained that it launched the competition because it wanted to provide UK businesses with an outlet to share best practice email marketing techniques and have their hard work recognised. It hopes to make the competition an annual event.
CEO of Sign Up, Matt McNeil, commented: “In these uncertain times, where everyone’s budgets are being squeezed, email marketing has become more important than ever before as it offers a cost effective and truly measurable marketing channel that is accessible to all.
“In order to be truly effective though, email marketing needs to be well planned and executed and follow best practice. We hope that this competition will provide marketers with a platform to share their experiences and to be inspired by great examples of email marketing in action.”
