Social network for IT professionals, Spiceworks has launched a social commerce feature that connects manufacturers and resellers with its members.
The new feature will enable SMBs to manage and automate printer ink and toner purchasing directly within the Spiceworks social network. The firm says its users are responsible for the maintenance of over 10 million printers for over one million businesses worldwide, valuing this as more than $3 billion in refills every year.
Speaking about the benefits of the development, Scott Abel, co-founder and CEO of Spiceworks, said, “Today, we’re taking a big step forward in helping businesses automate the last link in the IT management lifecycle – the buying process.
