The B2B marketing AI revolution: Hype 1, Reality 0

We’ve all read the headlines and listened to the hype: the fourth industrial revolution is upon us – AI is here, the world is changing before our eyes, many jobs will disappear and new ones will emerge. In short, the world will never be the same again.

But in B2B, where’s the evidence of this? Where are the examples of B2B brands or marketing programmes that demonstrate the power of AI, and how this revolution is unfolding?

If you’re like me, you probably think these examples are conspicuous by their absence – the hype is definitely outstripping reality. So at B2B Marketing, we’re setting out to change that: in an upcoming report, produced in association with LinkedIn, we identify the real life examples of how and where AI is working B2B. We’ll be pulling these stories apart to examine why AI was the solution for this particular challenge, and the things that the marketers involved learned along the way. Consequently, we will highlight what other B2B marketers should consider when looking at AI in the (most likely very near) future.
