The Mission Marketing Group has changed its name to The Mission Group, after reporting a steady interim growth.
The agency holding company, which includes the B2B agencies April Six, Bray Leino and Speed Communications, released a video along with their new visual identity to encourage creative partnerships for future clients.
Along with Mission’s new identity, there will be three major changes to the group’s structure. These are the merger of automotive agency RLA into April Six, the combination of bigdog and krow into a single integrated agency, and the expansion of Story UK into Leeds and Newcastle, taking on the team from agency Robson Brown. This follows the split of the group into two operating divisions in 2018.
James Clifton, chief executive at The Mission Group, said: “We remain on a mission to help brands thrive, but we aim to do that by being a trusted business partner, not limited to marketing communications. Today’s name change reflects that ambition.”
Mission revenue up by 9%, as profit rises by 10%
The group’s revenue for the six months to June rose 9% from continuing operations to nearly £40 million, with headline profit increasing by 10% to £3.4 million.
James added: “We’ve had another successful first six months of trading in which we’ve increased revenue and profit, deleveraged and continued to deliver value for shareholders. We’re looking forward to a positive second half, with recent appointments from Petro-Canada Lubricants, Cummins, Docker and Fuji Xerox demonstrating our ability to establish trusted creative partnerships.”
