Catherine has left her consultancy role as the CMO at Dentsu-owned Gyro to join the agency collective, The Mission Group, as group marketing director.
The Mission Group has hired Catherine in this newly created role where she’ll assume responsibility for accelerating growth across The Mission Group and Krow, which recently announced its merger with group agency Bigdog. She’ll work alongside Krow CEO John Quarrey and his team, while managing The Mission Group’s agency brands.
Mission is a collective of 11 brands, including B2B agencies, Bray Leino, April Six, and Speed Communications. Back in September, the company dropped ‘marketing’ from its name, after reporting a steady interim growth.
Along with her experience with Gyro, Catherine was previously the CMO at Grey London and the chief growth officer at Cheil London.
James Clifton, chief executive of The Mission Group, said: “Mission has the skills, talent and infrastructure to be an exciting and credible alternative to the established communications group. Something we should be shouting about, which is why Cat is the perfect hire at the perfect time.”
