The Manchester Publicity Association (MPA) is launching a competition to give students and creative agencies the chance to come up with a new brand identity for it.
In a bid to improve its reputation and influence in the creative industry as well as expand its reach across the North West the MPA is looking for a new name and creative output.
A panel of six industry experts will decide on the winning student and the winning agency. The new brand identity will be formed by combining the two ideas. All entries must be submitted by 4 December, and the top 10 entries will be showcased at an event in January.
Nicola Leyland, chairman of the MPA says, “Extensive research with our members, stakeholder groups and other governing bodies has highlighted the association should represent the region as a whole and not just Manchester…It’s only fitting that we bring the entire brand up to date.”
