The Sun and The Times’ owners News International has developed a single point of contact for all of its media buyers and advertisers in an attempt to become a stronger media outfit than the sum of its brands.
The new B2B website nicommercial.com has put all of News International Commercial’s online and print media brands, including The News of the World, The Sun Online and The Times under one roof on a single integrated platform.
The website, developed and hosted by communications agency Skyron, aims to increase awareness of NIC’s newly integrated sales organisation and joined-up philosophy and create a rich communications channel for its clients.
The website includes detailed information about the brands, their audiences, editors and columnists, client case studies, video testimonials and presentations with engaging motion graphics.
NIC says its sales teams will also benefit from its new approach by consolidating and further building client relationships.
NIC head of trade and marketing Rob Francis said, “News International titles are among the world’s most successful and digital is very much at the heart of our strategy to stay ahead of the game in a very competitive market.”
In addition NIC has launched an acquisition campaign including a microsite, mailer and e-shot for the Travel Classifieds section in The Sun and the News of the World also created by Skyron.
