Marketers can now manage their brand’s Google Plus page via selected third party apps, Google has revealed.
In the latest Google Plus development, of which there have been many over recent weeks, Google Plus has been made manageable via Buddy Media, Context Optional, Hearsay Social, HootSuite, Involver, and Vitrue.
In her blog post announcing the move Sara McKinley, product manager of Google Pages, said, “We are currently working with these companies so that we can experiment and get feedback.
“They were selected based on their extensive experience helping brands and businesses manage and analyse their presence on social networks.”
This news comes one day after the revelation that Google Plus posts can now pull through and appear on Google’s search results pages.
