Qbase and Mardev have joined forces to launch an online list buying service called CustomerSearch.net, which it claims enables buyers of business data to make âpinpoint decisionsâ, and provides instant access.
The system was developed by Qbase, leveraging Mardev’s 3.4 million-strong UK Decision Maker database and allows B2B database marketers to quickly and easily identify prospects by job titles, industries and locations, and then to buy online.
Qbase says ease-of-use was a primary design criteria for the system. Ian Johnstone, MD of Qbase, comments, âWe wanted to find the easiest way for customers to search and buy data and this was achieved by developing a three-step system that allows the buyer to carry out the entire selection in under one minute.â
Samples of data can be viewed before purchasing to ensure they meet the specified criteria. Other significant functions include a ruleset for downloads, enabling previously purchased selections to be excluded, preventing duplication.
Enhancements scheduled for the solution for 2007 include the incorporation of international data, and the inclusion of licensed data from two additional data owners.
