Samsung received 19,858 mentions, Sony 16,497 and LG 12,159.

The top ten looks like this:

1: Samsung – 19,858 mentions
2: Sony – 16,497 mentions
3: LG – 12,159 mentions
4: Logitech – 10,798 mentions
5: PlayStation – 8,828 mentions
6: Lenovo – 7,202 mentions
7: Edison – 6,703 mentions
8: Panasonic – 5,212 mentions
9: Windows – 5,202 mentions
10: Yahoo – 4,975 mentions

Meanwhile the top five trends, as measure by the social chatter, were:

1: 4k resolution – 15,667 mentions

3: Smart gadgets – 11,302 mentions
4: 3D printing – 9,632 mentions
5: Internet of Things – 9,082 mentions

It would be interesting to see some sentiment analysis regarding these trends. This is particularly true in the case of 4K resolution displays as a significant number of those 15,667 mentions are likely to be questioning whether demand and need for the development exists.

Taking place over four days in Las Vegas, CES is the largest technology event in the world, catering for hundreds of thousands of delegates, as well as an audience of millions following proceedings digitally.
