Total drops Elf brand for business

Elf Business Energy, gas supplier to business customers in the UK, has been rebranded, taking on the name and logo of its parent company, Total Gas & Power.

The move, which took place on 1 February, symbolises the growing integration between the different subsidiaries owned by Total, a global multi-energy provider, of which Total Gas & Power is one.

Vanessa Atkinson, strategic marketing manager at Total Gas & Power, says the rebrand has taken place because, “not only do we feel it better reflects what we do, but the Total brand also has a stronger presence in the UK.”

The rebrand is being communicated to the company’s customers via a letter, in their invoices and on the company website. Atkinson adds, “Total Gas & Power’s customers will have the security and added value of knowing that their supplier is one of the world’s leading integrated energy companies.”

Total Gas & Power supplies natural gas and electricity to more than 50,000 industrial and commercial sites in the UK ranging from the small fish and chip shop through to the large commercial multi-site and heavy industrial users.
