Twitter is the most popular social media platform among B2B brands, according to new research published by B2B Marketing.
Eighty-five per cent of B2B brands claim a presence on the microblogging platform. LinkedIn comes in a very close second, with 82 per cent of respondents claiming a presence.
Other popular platforms included YouTube, where 77 per cent have a profile, Facebook (71 per cent) and Google+ (36 per cent).
Interestingly, though Twitter managed to retain its position at the top of the popularity table, it failed to attract additional B2B users since our last report was published in 2011.
Meanwhile, LinkedIn attracted an increase in uptake of five per cent and YouTube saw an impressive 11 per cent growth among B2B brands.
