Twitter has announced that it is now accepting sign-ups from small and medium sized businesses that want to participate in its self-serve ad programme.
As part of the launch, Twitter has partnered with American Express to offer a $100 credit for free advertising to the first 10,000 businesses that register. The latest development is a bid to broaden its revenue streams and extend its international ad offerings.
The self-serve platform will go live to the first group of businesses in late March, before being rolled out more broadly.
