Twitter posts no longer appear on LinkedIn

Your tweets will no longer pull through as LinkedIn updates, following Twitter’s decision to alter the terms of its arrangements with third party apps.  

This move is likely to receive a mixed response from marketers, some of whom will have enjoyed the ease of spreading messages across both networks with one tweet.

Others will be welcoming the resultant tidier update screens in LinkedIn, which are likely to be significantly less automated and spam-focused.

LinkedIn is advising people who still wish to spread the same messages across both networks that they can do so by starting their conversations in LinkedIn and ticking the Twitter icon as they post.
