Twitter has updated its iPhone and Androids apps in order to improve user experience.
The social network has made changes to photos, user accounts and location.
To add a photo to a Tweet, users will now see a full preview of your photo, not only the cropped version. It will also be easier to share a photo from the camera roll, with fewer steps needed to share photos.
When composing a tweet the user will now see their avatar and username, allowing users a better sense of how their tweet will actually appear online. Tweeting from multiple accounts is now easier, users can select the appropriate account by simply tapping on your avatar.
Users can still add or remove location from individual tweets right from the tweet box.
Misha Lushin, senior software engineer at Twitter, said: “One of the most requested features we’ve heard about from Android users is richer notifications. With this update, you will now see more details about your interactions on Twitter right in the Notifications Drawer. Just swipe the notification to expand and see more details.”
Meanwhile, the company has removed the borders around timelines on Twitter for iPhone, as a result all tweets now fill the screen.
