Unilever Ventures is joining up with accelerator programme Collider12 to offer one start-up the chance to win £100,000 in funding.
‘The Unilever challenge’ is open to any start-up which creates B2B products and services. The European venture capital arm of Unilever is looking specifically for a company which can aid the way key Unilever brands communicate and interact with customers via digital channels.
To enter start-ups need to submit their business plans to the Collider12 entry process and be accepted onto the programme. Entries close on 32 December and judging will take place in May 2013.
John Coombs, managing director of Unilever Ventures, said, “The UK has always been at the forefront of media and marketing communications and we are seeing a lot of innovative start-ups at the moment. We are looking to work closely with a number of these companies to help them develop their capabilities to provide services to big brands like those of Unilever, not just in the UK but around the world.”
