Virgin Atlantic flies the flag with NFL sponsorship

Virgin Atlantic has signed a new sponsorship deal with the NFL, and can now lay claim to being the ‘official airline partner of the NFL.’

The airline will be flying the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Bears to England when they meet for an international series game at Wembley Stadium on 23 October.

In addition to flying the teams over the Atlantic, Virgin will also be hosting a series of events in London to further cement associations with the American sport.

Paul Dickinson, director of sales and marketing at Virgin Atlantic, said, “Sponsoring the NFL offers the perfect opportunity to align our brand with one of the most recognisable sporting entities in the world.”
