Volume beats stiff competition to win major software client

Volume has emerged the winner of a seven-way pitch to become the lead agency for software giant Oracle.

Volume will take responsibility for all marketing communications and corporate and third party events for Oracle’s Technology and Applications Marketing Teams across the UK and Ireland. It will also be responsible for developing systems and processes that will shape Oracle’s customer and prospect nurture programmes.

Chris Sykes, Volume’s Managing Director says, “by applying best practices and sustainable processes throughout the communications and sales cycle, we gain better intelligence and information about Oracle’s customers and prospects at every touch-point. We provide Oracle with near real-time information and insight via our online systems and from this we gain the flexibility to make informed tactical decisions, whilst gaining holistic views across each channel and campaigns.”

Oracle used scorecards to evaluate each agency invited to pitch. Volume will take over full responsibility in July.
