VW launches Amarok campaign


Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has launched its new ‘Knowledge is Power’ campaign across outdoor, press, retail, social media, mobile and other digital channels.

The campaign, highlighting the launch of the stable’s new Amarok pick-up, is designed to showcase the vehicle’s ‘intelligent use of power,’ with videos showing footage of the car demolishing a 140 tonne steel tower.

Mark Hopkins, marketing communications manager, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK, said, “We wanted to achieve something extraordinary to demonstrate this for its launch, and by working with the right experts and taking a scientific approach to demolishing a 67 metre steel chimney, we’ve shown the maximum strength and power of the Amarok.’
