World’s first B2B Tiktok studio launches across the UK, US and Europe

The studio, which will run from the agency’s London, New York and Berlin offices, will open up the Tiktok creator ecosystem to B2B brands for the first time. 

The Croc is also carrying out the first comprehensive analysis of the B2B Tiktok landscape, creating a library of creators in the B2B space against all key verticals. 

Though many view Tiktok as a consumer-focussed platform for Gen Z in fact, almost three quarters of daily users are older than 24 and 42% are over 35. Globally, TikTok is the third-most used platform on a daily basis for those making buying decisions. When compared to more traditional channels like trade press or LinkedIn (~15%), there is a clear opportunity.

The studio’s launch client is Abax, a GPS tracking specialist for the tools and machinery sector – which has already seen great success in testing the channel and partnering with creators.

Jack Trew, strategy director at The Croc, said: “B2B marketing works really well on Tiktok. We know, though it might seem counterintuitive, that the audience is there; that brands can not just reach targets, but gain insights on the platform – and moreover, that it works.”

We believe that B2B brands need to think differently, more fiercely. This means experimenting with and embracing the new. Otherwise your competitors are going to get their first. “

The team will be led by Jordan Perez-Hughes, Jack Trew and Nina Klausen, looking after creative, strategy and media respectively.
