Advertising titan WPP and experience management software company Sitecore have launched a global partnership.
The alliance is an attempt to reduce the complexities of marketing and increase ROI, while enhancing customer experience across all digital touchpoints.
This means the partnership will bring together WPP’s existing Sitecore partners, including Ogilvy, Wanderman, Mirum, AKQA, Cognifide, Globant, POSSIBLE and VML.
WPP recently announced cuts to its sales and profit margin forecasts for the second time since August, amid concerns about the effectiveness of digital campaigns and dwindling marketing budgets.
Mark Zablan, CRO at Sitecore, said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with WPP to expand the number of brands that are using Sitecore technology to deliver a more personalised, contextual customer experience. Marketers and digital teams will greatly benefit from the expertise and capabilities the WPP-Sitecore alliance now has to offer.”
