Yahoo partners with Getty Images

Yahoo has partnered with Getty Images to allow users to search a broad range of pictures from various locations.

The search engine has updated its U.S search to include Getty Images. This means when a user searches for any place or country they will see a collection of Getty Images from that location.

Girish Krishnan, product director, Yahoo Search said in a blog post: “If you want to see details about the photo, hover over the photo thumbnail. To see a larger version of the image, click in the upper-left-hand corner to view it in full-screen slideshow view.

“Whether you’re browsing vacation destinations or simply want to see sites from around the world, Yahoo! Search has images that make you wish you were there.”
