Yahoo signs content deal with The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Independent and Evening Standard

Yahoo has agreed content distribution partnerships with a selection of household name publishers including The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Independent, London Evening Standard and Hearst UK.

The deals are set to enrich its news, sports, finance and lifestyle coverage and provide its users with greater access to content from the aforementioned publishers.

The publishers will be able to distribute content via a curated feed in partnership with Yahoo in five countries: the UK, US, Canada, India and Singapore. 

The internet giant has over one billion monthly users worldwide and the agreements open up a new channel for British publishers to reach this vast global audience.

Using Yahoo Gemini – the company’s cross-platform native advertising marketplace – content will be monetised for publishers via a revenue sharing model. Advertising will appear within each article to reach and engage relevant audiences with highly-targeted content.
