Yahoo unveils new logo

After 30 days of waiting Yahoo has unveiled its new logo. 

On August 7th the purple giant announced it would unveil variations on its now old logo each day for the following 30 days, culminating in the launch of the company’s official new logo.

The redesigned logo has been created by Yahoo’s in-house brand design group and product designers, was not teased as part of its ‘30 Days of Change’ campaign.

While the search engine’s CEO, Marissa Mayer, commented: ‘We knew we wanted a logo that reflected Yahoo — whimsical, yet sophisticated. Modern and fresh, with a nod to our history. Having a human touch, personal. Proud.’
