Yell has launched a website offering SMEs digital marketing advice as part of its change in position to return to profit.
In July the directory announced its four-year-strategy to become the leading provider of SME digital services. www.marketing.yell.com is a free resource containing advice on website design and content, SEO best practice, social media, banner advertising and video marketing.
Content for the new site is provided by over 20 external contributors and Yell inhouse experts. Chris Brake, director of next generation products for Yell, said, “Yell’s marketing site is an essential free resource for all local businesses wishing to attract more customers online. Many businesses do not currently have an effective digital marketing strategy, or indeed a website, so we have made it easy by ensuring they are well equipped with the best possible expert advice and tips for free.”
