Yext appoints John Watton to EMEA leadership team

Yext, the search experience cloud company, has  appointed John Watton to its EMEA leadership team. John is a previous winner of B2B Marketing’s marketer of the year.

In his new role as EMEA VP of marketing, John will be responsible for building awareness of Yext as the ‘answers company’, whilst strengthening relationships and partnerships with clients. He will also help enable the business’s agencies to deliver meaningful work for both existing and prospective customers. 

Watton has previously served at Adobe, Microsoft and SAP, and has over 20 years of experience in enterprise technology and eCommerce marketing. He is also an active part of the UK industry, having served on the IDM B2B Marketing Council, as well as the Business Marketing Collective Executive Council.

Currently, Watton is leading the company in the communication of its response to the COVID-19 outbreak in EMEA, making him an integral part of the leadership team, and ensuring he plays a key role in relationships with clients during this difficult time.

Yext organises a business’s facts so that it can provide official answers to consumer questions, wherever people search. Yext starts with the company website, and then extends across search engines and voice assistants.
