The brightest young minds in the design industry will be celebrated at an upcoming awards evening in London.
The Art & Design Awards event, organised by digital agency Freestyle Interactive, will announce the winner of the Great British postcard competition, which challenged budding creatives to design a postcard that best represents British culture.
The public can vote for their favourite entry online, with final-round judges including John Lydon (Sex Pistols front man Johnny Rotten) and Lord John Bird.
Paul Beacham, creative director at Freestyle Interactive, said: “This has been a project that’s involved the design community from the moment it became live.
“We’ve helped bring together big, influential names from the world of art, music and politics and that meant the momentum the campaign has gained has helped Saxoprint [the competition’s organiser] achieve its goal to disrupt the online printing marketing in the UK.”
