YouTube launches competition for its partners

YouTube has launched a campaign to help its partners grow their channels.

The video sharing site is asking YouTube partners to submit a three minute video of the project they want to create for their channel, and a 400 word summary explaining it. The winners will receive promotion across YouTube, a week-long hands-on training and mentorship session, a €4,000 video equipment package and a €3,000 lump sum, to help them boost the quality of their content.

Applications close on 23 September and the winner will be announced on 8 November. For more information on entry criteria visit the campaign microsite.
