Chime, the global sport, entertainment and communications group, has acquired San Francisco and Salt Lake City-based techn PR and marketing agency Method Communications to broaden the group’s US footprint.
The group is aligning Method with its marketing agency Harvard – B2B PR agency of the year – and customer advocacy specialists inEvidence, in a global technology practice to build on its strategy of creating a differentiated global marketing services network for the tech sector.
The acquisition will grow the group’s technology practice billings to more than £20 million.
Method, which was founded by David Parkinson and Jacob Moon in 2010, is the agency behind US technology companies including Check Point Software, Domo, Freshworks, New Relic, Pluralsight, and Qualtrics.
Method, Harvard and InEvidence will report into Chime Specialist Group CEO Jo Parker. Louie St Claire, CEO of Harvard, will chair the newly formed tech group.
