B2B Content Marketing Agency UK

Want to Find Out The Top B2B Content Marketing Agencies in the UK? We Reveal All

If you’re on the hunt for a B2B content marketing agency in the UK, then you’re in luck. Our 2026 UK Agencies Benchmarking Report has just launched, and it is filled to the brim with insights to help you choose the right agency. This week, we turn our attention to the top content marketing and thought leadership specialists.

Before we dive in, it’s worth mentioning how we collect data for our specialisms. In our survey of 68 agencies, we asked agencies to check off what services and capabilities they offered. This included everything from PR and demand generation to ABM and much more. After checking those off, the next question instructed agencies to use the same list to identify their top three specialisms. We analyzed the most frequently selected areas and used them to create our specialist league tables.

For this specialism specifically, we stated it as ‘Content marketing and thought leadership services (including copywriting, storytelling, editing, video)’. This was to make it clear what was included. In total, 34 agencies were represented in this field. So who cracked the top 10 content marketing agencies in the UK? See list below:

  1. Fox Agency
  2. ArmstrongB2B
  3. Tangerine
  4. Publicis Pro
  5. The SEO Works
  6. Napier
  7. BDB Global
  8. CC Group, a Hoffman Agency
  9. Propeller Group
  10. Wyatt International

Fox claimed the top spot this year, reporting a gross income of £9 million and an impressive client retention rate of 93%. The agency also ranked 11th overall, climbing three places from 2025 to 2026. Meanwhile, ArmstrongB2B and Tangerine secured second and third place in our content specialist rankings.

Content and thought leadership was the second most selected specialism, coming just behind brand. This clearly signals the growing importance of strong content strategies in B2B marketing.

For marketers struggling with their approach to content, Matt Locke, Co-Founder, Storythings and B2B’s Content Specialist suggests a mindset shift: stop viewing content purely as a lead generation tool and start treating it as a long-term relationship-building strategy. Of course, with ongoing pressure to demonstrate ROI, this can be easier said than done.

Matt advises: “We help them frame content formats like products.” Storythings uses frameworks like the Value Proposition Canvas to define what value the content actually creates for audiences. They identify the specific job it’s meant to do.

Then they test three levels of fit:

  • Problem-solution fit: Does the audience genuinely need this?
  • Market fit: Are they engaging and forming habits?
  • Business model fit: Is it delivering value for the brand and operationally sustainable?

As cited in our report: “Treating content as a long-term asset rather than a disposable campaign allows for the same success metrics you’d apply to any product.”
