“Innovation Shuttle” by Palo Alto Networks
Silver: Best Digital Experience Initiative
The Innovation Shuttle reimagined how enterprise cybersecurity is experienced. The objective: ditch the dull demo and create a cinematic, immersive and interactive journey that brought Palo Alto Networks’ technology to life.
Set inside a sci-fi-inspired shuttle, participants were greeted by AI, then launched into simulated environments – a café under cyberattack, a security ops center in São Paulo – where they made real-time choices and witnessed the platform’s impact firsthand. It wasn’t just a demo; it was a choose-your-own-adventure meets live tech showcase. What made it special? Emotional resonance. Non-technical participants left understanding – and feeling – the relevance of complex cybersecurity use cases. Customers filmed the experience. Some called it “unlike anything in the industry.” Others asked to install it in their own innovation centers. This campaign transformed abstract tech into a visceral, human experience. It wasn’t about showing features – it was about making the future tangible.
“A’Maison: The House of Amazon, It’s French for Ads” for Amazon, by Salt Productions
Shortlisted: Best Use of Live Events (Digital, Physical or Hybrid)
“A’Maison: The House of Amazon” was Amazon’s boldest, most culturally resonant activation to date. Built from scratch atop a blank parking lot in Cannes, Salt in collaboration with Pinch, created a serene, luxury cultural village, blending haute couture aesthetics with digital innovation. The objective: to position Amazon as a home for creativity, commerce, and culture – showing, not telling, how its portfolio empowers brands to shape the zeitgeist. With over 6,000 global attendees (18% C-level), a 253% increase in content attendance, and a 170% lift in earned social conversation, A’Maison became the destination at Cannes Lions 2024. It featured fewer, more powerful programming moments, AI-powered interactivity, and elegant storytelling spaces like Le Musée and Le Jardin, all unified by the insight that today’s consumers crave connection and shared values. This campaign stood apart by turning a complex B2B narrative into a captivating, emotionally rich experience. It blurred the line between content and culture, utility and beauty, brand and belonging. A’Maison didn’t just speak to the industry – it inspired it.
