Digital Not Digital networking event

Agile career advice and networking that lived up to our champagne dreams

B2B Marketing USA hosted its first networking event on Thursday, Sept 29. We were thrilled to have KonstantChange CEO Marti Konstant take the mic and encourage all of us to start A/B testing our careers. We couldn’t think of a better piece of advice for a room full of marketers standing on the frontlines of digital transformation.

Events manager and longtime Chicago networker Joel Mangers organized a lovely cocktail hour at Pops for Champagne in Chicago. Fran Brosan, founder and chairperson of sponsor Omobono, took time off from a visit to her agency’s U.S. office to clink glasses with us.

We hope you all had a good evening and made a few new connections. And if you didn’t make it to Pops this time, no worries. We’ll be throwing these soirees for the next two months, and you’ll always be welcome.

Next up in the Digital Not Digital networking series: On Oct. 27, Basecamp’s Wailin Wong will regale us with the lessons she learned about content development while on deadline for Dow Jones Newswires and the Chicago Tribune.

Until then, cheers from all of us at B2B Marketing USA.
