Our second ever Global Agency Benchmarking Report has just launched and it’s better than ever. Packed with insights about agency gross income, headcount, specialisms and more, the report is a must-read for anyone on the hunt for an agency.
Before we dive in, it’s important to note that we asked agencies to provide us with financial data from their most recently closed financial year. We then rank them based on gross income (which is converted to dollars).
It is also worth noting that we surveyed 15 agencies this year compared to 19 last year so do keep this in mind when reviewing rankings. Now with that being said, who managed to claim the top spot? Coming out on top is Dentsu B2B with a total global gross income of $152 million. The agency also ranked #1 in our 2025 US agency report and #2 in our UK agency report showcasing the agency’s success both regionally and globally. Gravity Global has come in at #2, which means the agency has climbed up two spots in its ranking compared to last year. And the agency landscape? Utilizing data from 15 different global agencies, we saw that the average gross income totaled in at $58.01 million which is a 12.9% increase in total gross income compared to the previous financial year. This steady global growth signals positive momentum in the agency landscape and suggests that agencies operating at a global scale may be better positioned for long-term success.
In addition, we included a world map which outlines the locations agencies operate in – interestingly enough 100% of agencies have a presence in EMEA. And 13 out of 15 agencies operated in North America. Meanwhile, only one agency is active in LATAM and eight in APAC. While the sample size is relatively small, the data clearly points to strong concentrations in Europe and North America, underscoring their continued importance as global agency hubs.
