If you’re on the hunt for the top global content marketing agencies, we have the lowdown. Our Global Agencies Benchmarking Report has been released and it’s jam-packed with insights on the global agency landscape. And this week’s blog? We’re spotlighting our 2026 content specialists.
How we measured content marketing specialists
Before the ranking, it is worth being clear about the methodology. Agencies first selected the services they offer, then identified their top three specialisms. Only agencies that placed content marketing in their top three were counted as specialists in the category.
For this report, content marketing covers content marketing and thought leadership services, including copywriting, storytelling, editing and video.
We then ranked agencies by global gross income rather than by the number of agencies that offer content. That matters, because it shows which content specialists have the commercial scale to match their positioning.
The top five global B2B content agencies:
Gravity Global took the top spot with a global gross income of $189 million. It is also the number one global brand specialist and ranked number two overall, which underlines the breadth of its offer. VCCP B2B and Pretzl also ranked strongly for content, taking second and third place respectively.
But the wider picture is perhaps more interesting than the top five. Of the 14 agencies in the survey, 13 offer content marketing services, but only seven placed content in their top three specialisms. That distinction tells us something important about the role content plays within B2B agencies today.
Content is now close to a baseline capability for global B2B agencies. Most clients expect it, and most agencies can deliver it. The real difference is whether content is treated as a differentiator or just a commodity.
That distinction matters for buyers. A services list tells you what an agency can do. A specialism ranking tells you where it believes it is strongest. For B2B marketers evaluating partners globally, that is a far more useful signal. If this was useful, we highly suggest checking out our Global Agencies Benchmarking Report here.
