Sage launches its first augmented reality campaign

Software firm Sage UK has launched its first augmented reality (AR) marketing campaign.

Targeting small and medium businesses, the campaign used Aurasma’s image recognition technology, and comprises three different images of UK business owners, one of which comes to life with 3D visual effects when viewed through the Aurasma smartphone app.

Viewers are given two choices, either to try Sage Accounts free for 60 days or to take part in a short quiz designed to identify their most pressing business needs. Users are then directed to a relevant landing page where they can download free business advice content from Sage.

Live from this week, the campaign will run until the end of the July 2013.
